This initial course in mandatory for any contractor,plumber, electrician, roofer , flooring, window replacement, landlords, HVAC, pipefitting, masonary ect, who will disturb over 6 square feet per interior room or twenty square feet exterior and work for compensation , penalties and fines could be over 37,500 per day civil or imprisonment
This 8- hour training course covers topics such as,lead exposure to children under 6 years old and adults from unsafe work practices, how to work lead - safe wet and clean and job preperation , All contractors will receive a national certificate of completion same day for lead control work and can be used in any EPA state jurisdition. Any work for compensation conducted the pre renovation (renovate right) brochure must be distibuted to occupants or owners.
